During August 2026, I submitted four stories to publications, including Betascape Magazine (1^st sub), Sun Thief Journal (1^st sub), Abyss and Apex (3^rd sub, 1 positive rejection), and Synthesized Sunsets” (1^st sub).

I also received one rejection from publications, including Khoreo (2^nd rejection).

Abyss and Apex is one of those dream markets. My positive rejection from them was for a story called “The Only Real Thing,” which eventually got picked up by Celestial Echo Press in the Behind the Revolving Door: an Anthology of Choices, Volume II anthology.

As summer ends, we’re back to a slow trickle of submission activity, but hopefully this picks up soon. I have more stories in the works as well, which should be ready to send out in the near future.
